City get outs

Each of the presented trips was found by Erasmus Barcelona app which is a necessary tool for Erasmus students to find out about cool events, free entry parties or trips. 10/10 recommended :)))

Costa Brava

This first trip was very spontaneous, one friend saw an offer for beach hopping and convinced me to go. It was a really picturesque beach, nothing like in Barcelona. The two hours way I believe is worth the pure chill surroundings to relax.

Monaco

For this trip, I spontaneously asked my classmate whom I started to get along with. She happened to be from Coventry as well, just one year above me. We shared a similar interest in exploring Spain and that’s when I stumbled upon this trip, which was happening in two days. To describe it in a few words would be really difficult, but the best ones I can use are unprepared, uncomfortable and confused.

When we arrive at the meeting point we realised that there is only a few Erasmus students merged with a pensioners trip in a narrow coach with people who only speak Spanish (no English and our Spanish was still a struggle) just to mention a few. We also got rainy weather, no rain protection made us wet from head to toe and we got no possibility to dry up because of the high humidity. The trip gave us a lesson for the future and brought us together to choose better trip options.

Valencia and Peniscola

This one happened on the worst day of my developing cold, so I will save myself the trouble to describe it. The city is definitely worth a visit and I would so repeat it again if possible.

Girona, Figures and Besalu

On this trip, we were motivated to see the Dali Museum. I personally was rooting for Girona but it didn’t surprise me as something extraordinary, the Dali museum on the other hand meets and even exceeded my expectations to the fullest. I felt like Besalu was a filler of a kind but it’s good to see the wide range of cities around Spain.

Zaragoza

This one I visited this one to see my friend from the basketball team in Coventry. The same year she moved back to her home town where I was able to get a tour from a local.

Mont Rebei

This one was a hike for a change. The trip reminded me that I am not a hike person. Recommended to those who are though :)))

Volca del Croscat Natural Reserve

Here passed enough time for me to forget that I am not a hiking fan. The views were quite nice still.
